Bristol formed, and now Berlin based, Subtext return with the first album for classically trained contrabass player Yazir Elazar Glotman under his own name. Moving on from his debut LP as Northern Gulfs on Glacial Movements, Études is a ten track LP of exploration and experimentation into Glotman’s instrument of choice. The results are a thrumming soundscape of seismic rumbles and vibration, a unique output which sits well within the Subtext stable.
