Felicia Atkinson continues her quest of developing "phenomenological music" with new LP 'A Readymade Ceremony' a hypnotic affair of hard-as-nails industrial soundscapes in a truly unique ambient fashion and executed with a left field, almost pop, sensibility. Opener 'Against Archives' rolls out the empty warehouse glitch of a thousand hard drives quietly spinning before Felicia's half heard vocals come into focus and the beat slowly engulfs the track. 'L'Oeil' takes the vocals further to the forefront while a piano works its way through the gloom and raw noise before the crunch of digital distortion claws the track back under the water, a record of great individuality and structured chaos gracefully accomplished.
