Up next on Livity Sound, Bristol heavyweights Peverelist and Hodge share the output of several jamming sessions with two pieces of deadly ‘floor focused material. On the A-side, ‘21 Versions’ loops a tight ethnic sample over quaking sub-bass jolts, pranging synth keys and brittle, ricocheting claps, resulting in a dark, sinister brew that's ripe for the 4am masses. Over on the other side, ‘What Your Heart Knows’ is bookended by the kind of clinical detailing found in Sensate Focus’ work, yet the middle of the cut is a frenzied, turbulent overload of battered percussion, sharp textures and synapse-singeing bleeps.
