Following releases for his own labels, Crème Organization and Clone Jack For Daze, Unknown To The Unknown and Hot Haus Records boss DJ Haus doesn’t take a break: with his self-titled EP, the London producer lands on Rinse and continues his winning streak. The EP further pushes his jacking, hardware aesthetic. Whereas the opener deploys a hypnotising organ groove and classic vocal snippet over its fringy beat, ‘Another Place’ hints at acid with its 303 sounds. ‘High Voltage Houz’ throws some deep house lines in the mix, which DJ Haus takes up in the bulbous, bassy theme of ‘Bleep Phreak’.
