An incredibly spacey album from the American musician who made a name for himself as a jazz drummer during his teenage years growing up in Miami. Later spending his time hanging out with the likes of July Garland, Annette Peacock and Carla Bley in NYC, Bruce Ditmas made two albums, both released in 1977, using a Mini-Moog, an Arp 2600 and a wide range of treated percussive instruments. This collection of experimental, ethereal jazz tracks, comprising of tracks taken from those two albums, includes the high energy, off-beat, synth infested ‘L’Unita’, the progressive ‘Aural Suspension’ and the smooth jazz drum playing and mind-spinning peaks of ‘Yellow’.
