Bleep

Released digitally and on cassette as an addendum to the superb A-Tranquility EP, A-Morality finds elusive French producer Maoupa Mazzochetti further exploring the darker reaches of techno and bass for Unknown Precept. An oppressive weight runs through each of the four tracks on offer here: rumbling below the agitated reversed hats of ‘Tomboviolo’, adding a tremulous shudder to the unnerving ‘Portion’, turning the otherwise gentle melody of ‘Culex Vector’ into an ominous dark-future war dance, and blasting closer ‘The Sacred Feel’ out of the stratosphere with maniacally reverberating drums and juddering bass.
