Defying any attempts to pigeon-hole his sound, East London lynch pin Rude Kid brings his trademark urban eclecticism to Disrupt with a real beast of an EP, providing an adrenaline fuelled tour of the state of contemporary street music. Beginning and ending with a pair of crushing instrumental grime cuts straight of the Kid’s top drawer, the mid-section skips from deepest darkest dubstep (‘Danger Zone’) to frantic footwork (‘2004’), and even flirts with the full-on brain-melt of arena EDM (‘One & All’).
