Terre Thaemlitz aka DJ Sprinkles and SND man Mark Fell join forces for the second time for a second serving of politically entwined, handcrafted deep house on Terre's long-running Comatonse label. The last effort (Complete Spiral EP) from this surprising collaboration was built around the rousing historical speech from N.U.M leader Arthur Scargill, this time the duo continue to wear their political influences on their sleeve with the appearance of the late, former Labour MP Tony Benn who features on 'Fresh' - a perfectly chiseled deep house cut that's sure to turn a few heads. On the flip, we're offered the slick, breezy instrumental groove of 'Insights', with the deep, composed bassline and shuffling percussion guaranteed to get the 'floor moving in unison.
