Amsterdam-based Juju & Jordash drop their fourth album - it's their third on local imprint Dekmantel after their 2009's self-titled and 2012's Techno Primitivism LP. The duo, comprised of Gal Aner and Jordan Czamanski, has always embraced the album format, and Clean-Cut is their latest piece of evidence: though in parts undoubtedly suitable for the floor – take the immersive title track or the melodic ‘Schmofield’, the comprehensive track list equally features otherworldly sound journeys. The foggy atmosphere of ‘Swamp Things’ oscillates eagerly under howling effects and haunting synth work, and ‘Anywhere’ drifts away from tonality unnoticed.
