The Plastic Love label's debut release comes from its co-owner Mahereas. Having previously released on Crosstown Rebels sub-label Rebellion, he stakes his label's claim with some gusto here. 'The Man From Another Place' is a beautiful synth workout, unresolved basslines sitting beneath emotive synth patterns. 'Arecibo' moves from acidic squelch to playful and unnerving sci-fi bleeps, something to really shake up any unsuspecting dancefloor. Timothy J Fairplay takes the title track's emotive core and layers it over jungle breaks and old-school chords, while Cottam jams out over rough techno percussion.
