BPitch Control’s Kiki teams up with Vienna-based producer Joyce Muniz for a deep and funky release on Berlin dance music label Exploited. Originally from Finland, Kiki contributes his textural vocals to Muniz’ bass-heavy production, turning his sharp s-sounds into an instrumental feature themselves. The B-side’s percussion revolves around 909 hi-hats and characteristic house claps. Again, Kiki’s precise pronunciation makes his voice blend in organically in the mix: both his spoken word and humming add to Muniz’ profound yet infectious synth lines on ‘Bad Girl’.
