Italian-born, London based producer Antonio De Angelis joins contemporaries such as Dax J and Rommek on the impressive London imprint Weekend Circuit with his Incrisis EP. Engineered strictly for the floor, the EP opens with the tormenting synth loops and nervous ambience of ‘Morder’ followed by the dizzying bleeps and solid stomps of ‘Inspection’. Next is the big room weapon of mass destruction ‘Incrisis’ which packs a punch with its huge hammer blow kicks whereas Berlin veteran Sleeparchive adds some German engineering to the title cut, distilling down the kick and bringing in precision hi-hats that could cut steel.
