Klaxons seminal 2007 album Myths Of The Near Future blended '90s rave and playful guitar-work in a way that sounded alien and futuristic. Since then, they've kept that sound going, and while they may no longer seem as ahead of the pack as they once did, 'Love Frequency' still sees them tearing into pop music with familiar gleeful abandon. 'There Is No Other Time' is a breezy, melodic jam. The house stomp of 'Out Of The Dark' works less well, but moments like the flurrying 'Rhythm Of Life' and drilling opening track 'New Reality' retain some of that old spark.
