Multidisciplinary artist and visionary Christopher Willits presents Opening, his latest album for Ghostly International, although to call it just an album is to do it a disservice. The collection comprises a journey of seven expansive tracks that yawn and grow with ambient promise, a 45-minute accompanying visual work, photos to match each track and a multi-channel live performance. Channelling at once Godfrey Reggio and Philip Glass, the transcendental sound and images show an artist unafraid to express his voice, unshackled by medium.
