Crunchy house goodness here from Cottam's Ruff Draft imprint. The mysterious LK, with just his fourth release in a decade, turns in three classic-sounding numbers sure to get floors moving. Mystery's been done, sure, but who cares when the tunes are this much fun. 'Valentino' throws together gentle Rhodes keys, soul vocals and cries from the crowd, all over a heavy kick. 'Mark It (Take 3)' is based around a shuffling beat and wistful chords over the earnest crackle of vinyl - one for warm late nights in any seasons, but best heard under balmy starlight. 'Oolong' drones with intent, a soulful vocal sample chopped up and thrown against crisp claps and echoing keys.
