Theo Parrish unearths a late 80’s Chicago classic via his Sound Signature imprint with Leron Carson & D. Wilson’s Tracks From The Tape EP. Oozing early Chi-town character the duo embarks on a raw, slightly acidic journey across two impressive cuts. On the A-Side is ‘Siren’, a buoyant array of Chicago percussion unfolds over a squiggly acid pattern that commands attention. ‘Other Science’ on the b-side jacks insistently, utilising some nimble drum programming, long-drawn chords and another mutating synth motive.
