Bristol duo Kahn & Neek let loose with a booming two-track release, stacked with gritty, dancehall flavour on Hotline Recordings. On the A-side we’re treated to ‘Backchat’, a quaking piece throwing down ragga-style vocals on heavy bass tremors and harsh, ricocheted rimshots. On the flip-side, the duo offers a more lethargic dub version in ‘Dubchat’ where gunshots, quick snares and rippling bass-quakes are the order of the day.
