UK favourite Djrum made waves with his debut 2013 LP Seven Lies on 2nd Drop Records. Here the imprint has plucked the airy, broken-beat standout ‘DAM’ for a pair of varied remixes from Manchester duo Akkord and the Hidden Hawaii man Felix K. Akkord take a more direct approach, stripping out the excess and leaving the hard stomps for ultimate impact. Next is Felix K’s ‘Interpretation’ where the producer shows his penchant for far-out, ambient-leaning experimental sounds all held together by a liquid bass line.
