Tony Tokyo returns to Roska Kicks & Snares with more vital deep house bangers. The London DJ continues to specialise in soulful drops of the big-room variety, and ‘I Want You’ has got it all. Big rolling kicks, claps and a bottomless bassline frame emotive synths and the titular vocal refrain. B-side ‘Reverse Running Man’ starts off with a similar deep house flex before flipping just over a minute in, introducing a huge, neck-breaking synthline and chopped diva vocals courtesy of Luna Marie.
