Three years on from his last proper release, Japanese producer Hiroshi Watanabe (KAITO) presents his eighth studio album for Kompakt. His sound remains timeless and meditative, opening with the spiralling, deep house of 'Sky Is the Limit', the rock-steady pulse of 'I'm Leaving Home', the hard-edged percussive ticks of 'Run Through The Road' and more mellow moments, like the elegiac 'Inner Space' and lilting bass of 'Dear Friends'. The sprawling guitar and spacious waves of ambience on 'Smile' close the record, rounding off a moving journey of an album.
