Veteran library musician Bernard Fevre scored a sleeper hit in 1978 with the Giorgio Moroder-influenced ‘Disco Club’ - since then he’s absorbed the record into his name and had an almighty comeback career on Lo Recordings. This latest album, his seventh, gives us more of what we want: klaxon-driven disco on ‘The Kid In Me’, Moogs and spooky strings on ‘Mexo Mambo’ and ‘80s electronic pop on ‘Bee Bop’. Fans of College or Italians Do It Better should dig out their best white suit.
