Downwards celebrates 20 years at the forefront of British industrial music with this new compilation, featuring the whole DNS family, from original producers Surgeon & Regis through to newcomers Kerridge and Oake. When Karl “Regis” O’Connor and Peter “Female” Sutton founded Downwards, little did they think two decades later they’d get a compilation as tight as this: in nine tracks they show why they’re kings of the industrial techno, with Napalm Death’s Mick Harris lending some hulking jungle from 1995, and label mainstay Antonym bringing screeching, eardrum-bursting 4/4 beats.
