Bleep

A very impressive effort from Hrdvsion fka Nathan Jonson who presents this 5 track EP in memory of his best friend Gary White. On first listen Nathan appears to have calmed things down a bit and moved away from the frantic chops and hyper-edits of his earlier solo material but after a few listens you begin to appreciate the level of detail he's gone to and this subtler approach seems to have a deeper impact. This is a very varied EP that takes in a great deal of influences with techno tracks sitting comfortably next to hip-chop but everything is glued together cohesively through Nathan's charming style of electronic production.
