Nathan Jonson, the Canadian producer better known as Hrdvsion, returns to Rinse with a refreshing batch of productions to keep you guessing. The electro-tinged title track features relentless synths and a robotic groove. ‘It Hurts’ opens with ambient keys, then claps and swirling production are faded in, building to an eerie anticlimax. The sci-fi inspired ‘Organized Crime’ manages to jack, thanks to the crisp percussion and sinewy bass line, while the atmospheric ‘Swan Dive’ benefits from emotive pads and Jonson’s exploratory synth work.
