The second instalment in the ‘Cumbia Beat’ series offers us an insight into the funk-soaked, Latin infused instrumentals of Peruvian lands. Locally known as ‘Chicha’ this infectious music merges western influences with the indigenous sounds of the Andes that have been passed from generation to generation creating a deadly blend of catchy, sun-drenched grooves.
