German pioneer Atom™ and techno-ambient provocateur Material Object resume their No. Inc. project with the second part of the Early Reflections EP. Housed on their No. imprint, it is a celestial continuation of its predecessor: on the A-side, it unfolds as a free-floating pattern of what sounds like piano strings struck by mallets and resolves in a soft drone of multiharmonic dimensions, whereas ‘Refraction II’ conjures up a weighty techno beat, pushing those ambient synths forward.
