While the identity of its creator remains a mystery, one listen to ‘Omega Point’ will undoubtedly etch the name in the mind of tech heads. Over 9+ trance-inducting minutes, the upstart teases out a narcotic synth line, adding ambient washes and rattling percussion before allowing the whole thing to fade into a mist of reverb. Material Object adds an excellent, heavily filtered remix that works like an inverse image of the original, while Delta Shuffle twists the source material into a ghostly dance tool that never quite drops.
