Parisian electro producer Benoit Heitz is something of a Womble, blending sounds other DJs usually avoid into a hypnotizing - and danceable - mess. This new EP on own label Marble doesn’t hold back: ‘Tiger Rhythm’ takes runaway tribal beats and mixes them up with pneumatic hisses and monkey yelps, while ‘Odeo 606’ is Eurocheese crossbred with dubstep, sparkling and sucking like a gala club launch in a black hole. Noise pollution rarely sounds this slick.
