As far as techno music, there is very few collaborations as exciting as this. Techno kingpin, Surgeon, teams up with one of the most pioneering new producers of the genre - Blawan. Collectively called 'Trade' - they present this 4 track EP on 'She Works the Long Nights' - the label co-run by Blawan and Pariah.

This is tough-as-nails techno that Surgeon has flawlessly mastered over the years and tweaked to maximum effect by Blawan's signature sounds. 'Half Nelson' uses the same downpitched and quite frankly scary vocal effect that we know and love from Blawan ("Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage?" and "‪What You Do With What You Got‬") and "I Notice You All" seems to have used the same drum samples as Blawan's career-breaking "Getting Me Down" track…

Individually, they are quite the technicians but together - they are really not mucking about...
