Only Richard Russell could get Ghostface Killah, Penny Rimbaud and Aitch in for guest spots on the same record. That’s exactly what the XL mogul does on Friday Forever, the second LP from his Everything Is Recorded project. Everything Is Recorded is sort of like Russell’s own attempt at capturing the collaborative energy of Gorillaz, and there’s a faint sense of end-of-the-world bacchanalia to this LP that reminds us of Gorillaz’ Humanz LP.
