8Ball makes his debut on the brilliantly-curated, post-hardcore imprint, Sneaker Social Club. Eleusis is a weightless take on jungle, mining UK dance music history and shooting its artefacts through a cerebral, cinematic prism. Extended passages of ambience burst into life with finely sharpened breakbeats and unmistakable continuum references. Aside from the stunning abstractions, there are cuts to work in the club, like ‘Only Time Will Tell’ and ‘The Moons’, both of which are equipped to send chills around a dancefloor. Fans of Mumdance & Logos’ joint experiments will find much to love in this one.
