Scotland seems to be consistently churning out the crème de la crème of electronic producers these days, and Aberdeen-born Ewan Robertson is no exception. But don’t expect too much off-kilter hiphop as ‘Bake Haus’ cooks up some rather more emotive, raw tracks that toy with silence rather than noise. This Big Dada LP encounters grime rhythms, rock tropes and even country ‘n’ western vibes. Skillfully produced tracks that surprise the listener.
