Formula label head, Champion, fires forth on the Butterz imprint with two deep, swaggering floor-fillers. ‘Crystal Meth’ shapes up as a frenzied grime throwdown with lethal bass stabs and swinging, molten percussion. ‘Speed’ is more stripped-back but no less impacting – a largely drum-less piece of heat that gives way to havoc-wreaking horns and stuttering vocals.
