Atlantan producer Michael Rathbun AKA Distal tops up a pretty stellar last year of releases on labels such as Tectonic, Grizzly and Fortified Audio with his debut album. ‘Civilisation’ takes a wild selection of influences including techno, jungle, breakcore, juke, hip hop, dubstep and house and throws them down into a wild riot of energy and colour, joining the dots between the various parts of the electronic dancefloor underground.
