Bleep

Following on from ‘Leidgut’ comes the latest offering from Atom TM, ‘Winterreise’. Composed as the audio soundtrack to a series of photographs exhibited in Tokyo in 2011 from the German producer Uwe Schmidt himself. Conceived from the contextual framework that his last album, ‘Leidgut’, created, ‘Winterreise’ carries on in the same vein yet forges a new and more abstract path for itself, one where moods are equally balanced and contrasted. Sounds come frazzled yet delicate, speaking of the subconscious that takes in both the scientific and the romantic.
