Just in time for sun-drenched days comes an inspired reissue from Soundway with Rob’s second album to ever surface outside of Ghana. Originally conceived in 1977, Rob’s album is heavy on the funk, yet differentiating this album from the other album cut by the musician in the same year is the slower tempo and more eccentric song structures. Definitely one of the stranger and more beguiling afro-funk records that we’ve heard in a while, brooding yet free-spirited.
