Deeply hallucinatory material from Ben Vida on the beautifully presented PAN imprint. Following up releases on Kranky, amongst others, Vida turns in a particularly discomforting insight into intoned pitch combinations, acting to reframe the listening experience and encourage an engagement with the form and aesthetic of the music and the sonic space the music projects. What results is a deeply experimental piece of fascinating and complex dimensions.
