Tokyo producer Ultrafog lands on the Japanese City-2 St. Giga label for the latest entry in their untitled 12” series. An elemental selection of ambience and atmosphere, the EP continues Ultrafog’s streak of uneasy, but structurally inventive music. The A side’s ‘Charisma’ hints at the slightest bit of rhythm with its heartbeat drum machines, while the wafting sounds on the B side’s ‘Lenexa’ brilliantly recalls a radio signal falling between multiple signals.
