Formed in a manner self-prescribed as ‘technoindigenous studies’ Reyes’ debut under the moniker revolves around mid-twentieth century traditional Latin music compositions. The project was initially inspired by Dublab radio’s event surrounding Latin American Modernism. Working solely with an Oberheim Synthesizer, Reyes has quite brilliant re-contextualised these popular tracks, regularly heard in any one of the Latino neighbourhoods in L.A.
