Distal and Vancouver's HxdB collaborate on the A-side track, 'Booyant', an intimate bass crawler with the kind of low end that calls for deep dance floor solitude. Meanwhile, Distal's solo effort, 'Amphibian', sounds like a deranged mortal bursting forth from the depths of despotism; whirring, clicking and glitching its way forward. Fans of much of Swamp 81's recent output best check this out.
