The London trio, Factory Floor, channel the spirit of 90s house with their DFA debut, 'Two Different Ways'. Tracing impressive cyclical patterns of arpeggiated synths, the dance outfit hark back to the glory days of body jacking house rhythms. Instinctive and primal, they interweave metallic clashes of percussion underneath Nik Colk's gothically melancholy vocals that echo the industrial, post-punk aesthetics that best befit the group's previous work. A new direction for Factory Floor, and much welcomed it is.
