Those unaware of the work of Welder may be more familiar with Brendan Angelides' work as the elegantly skewed electronic whizz Eskmo, with releases on Warp, Ninja Tune and Planet Mu. Welder is Angelides' slightly more introspective and melodic counterpart, less bass-fed and more focused on an ambient landscape of traditional instrumentation and narratives.
