So the story goes....in order to produce 'You as You', James Birchall aka Rough Fields holed himself up in some undisclosed isolated spot for five weeks straight in order to blur the divisions between the production process and the final creation. We have no idea where he went, but if the final sounds are anything to go by it was a place of intense serenity and calm - a haze of lightly cascading elements, soft piano keys and fuzzy distant vocals, all awash in golden glow.
