A firm member of the Motor City hall of fame, Matt Chicoine aka Recloose, makes a welcome return, after a much too long three year hiatus, with four original tracks of bubbling analogue sounds with that signature Recloose warmth. Starting out on a lush sun-drenched mid-tempo house tip, things get progressively more intense and upbeat as the EP goes on, swelling up to jazz and funk led heights and then meeting a Detroit style crescendo with one hell of a dirty driving bassline.
