Techno hypnotist Mike Parker really puts his craft to work with the second instalment of his The Devil’s Curators set of releases. It’s rare to have an instantly recognisable style in this game, but Parker has it down. He offers vintage drum machine fake-outs on ‘Sector 108’ and ‘Water Demon’, while delivering on some nicely nasty hardcore extrapolations on ‘Chant With Me’ and ‘Yog Monster’, sounding like he’s actually trying to summon infernal beasts.
