Soundsystem botherers Truth go subterranean cold war-core with Subchaser, another joint among many on Deep Medi Musik. We begin our journey with noir-ish samples soaked in bubbly textures, an eerie calm before the first weighty swing of a dubstep swell. The dynamics linger with the chiming-high-end-to-cavernous-low-end of ‘Shadow Samurai’, while Tikki Taane makes an appearance for the flute-laden, rainforest atmospheres of ‘Tui’.
