Three years on from debut LP Synthetic Space and Echium returns to sferic with another set of post-dub sound designs entitled Disruptions Of Form. The influence of Mika Vainio, Vladislav Delay and other innovators who emerged in the 90s in the wake of dub techno and illbient can be detected in Echium’s ultra-abstracted versions of soundsystem music. Oberman Knocks and Huerco S. would be more contemporary touchstones for Disruptions Of Form.
