However, for all of the track’s jauntiness, you also get the sense that something malign might lurk beneath the surface. Imagine a blend of Actor-era St. Vincent, Super Furry Animals and Cate Le Bon at her most whimsical and you are not far from the sound that Jockstrap come up with here.
