Touched Revolutions is an offshoot of Touched Music, a non-profit label who donate their proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support. They also make serve up some damn fine music too. Case in point - exm’s LS16 EP, a set of weird, warped IDM from the one born Jeroen Bax. LS16’s picture disc artwork invokes Squarepusher, and there’s certainly some of that sound in exm’s swampy glitching. However, these tracks focus less on the breakbeats and more on the synthesisers, their gurgling tones engulfing one another in a manner that has a bit more Autechre about it.
