Originally released in 1969, this album is one of the most significant in Brazilian musical history, spearheading the musical Tropicalia revolution lead by Brazilian legends Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa and Os Mutantes. The artists were experimenting with a mix of Western pop and Brazilian styles and also bravely critiquing the military regime that had taken over the country as well. A classic piece of obscured pop history.
